Today folks, really work to stay hydrated. The easiest way to do this is to carry around a large insulated water bottle. One that you can refill time after time. One that you like the feel of, the way it looks, what ever sort of spout or straw you drink through feels right. As an alternate you can use a Large Bell canning jar. Mine holds 24 ounces so I know i need to drink 3 of these a day. I love that i can screw on the lid tight and throw it in my purse. Just need to be careful because it is glass.
There are great stainless products on the market. Some geared toward kids, others with patterns colors of pictures.

Shoot for between 60 and 80 ounces today (depending on both your size and exertion level) and notice that you aren't as hungry, maybe less irritable. Try this for a few days and you will notice your skin looks fresher.
Our bodies work better when hydrated yet we tend to forget this.

How are you measuring health or keeping track of wellness practices?
I love the health app in your iPhone and the Apple watch or a perhaps you use a fitbit. I like to be able to take a look at the data, over weeks or months, and correlate that to how I'm feeling, how my mindset is, what my body looks like and most importantly, how I feel.
Are you tracking your health goals either with technology or a wellness journal? Perhaps it is time to give it a try?

Plan something fun...a party with friends. Gather people you love together in the same place to celebrate something..anything. From a birthday to a new season, a promotion or just a party for no reason at all.
Find a reason to celebrate. Life is short...trite but true and we should be celebrate any & every thing.
It can be many people or just a few. Coffee and muffins to a full on dance party.
So much fun, good for your soul and there just might be cake!

Do you sit at work all day? Sitting is a big deal...in a bad way.
Today set an alarm on your phone for EVERY 30-45 minutes. Give your eyes a rest from the computer screen. Get up and stretch. Take a stroll to the water cooler and refill your bottle. Take a few minutes to do some simple stretches for your wrists, low back and neck.
I love this simple tip because I always come back to my work with fresh eyes.

Signs are all around us. Tune into them today. Ask the universe for a sign or some direction if you are feeling lost. Then really listen with your heart.

This is your reminder to hydrate. Pure filtered fresh water. Having it handy makes it so much easier to stay hydrated.
Always choose water over soda or juices. Keep it visible. Refill as needed.
Aim for 64+ ounces of fresh water each and every day.

Feeling anxious? Stay mindful.
Remember to stay in the moment, that anxiety is generally worry about the many things that may never happen.
Start with some deep breaths that will help to center you.
Sit with the anxiety and breathe thru it reminding yourself that if you are in a period of confusion or frustrated and questioning what is for you...breathe through it. Have confidence that all will be as it should be and you will find your place there.
And as a gentle reminder, if your anxiety starts to get the best of you please find someone to talk to...a friend, a mentor, a therapist. You can always contact a hotline if you can't find someone to talk with 1-800-273-TALK (8255)

On this soulful Saturday I made a list of all the things that make me happy...I stopped at 42 and could have gone on.
My kids, family, dogs, babies, doing things that make me feel healthy, giving back, exercise, houseplants, birdwatching....
Making a list of things that make you happy is such a simple but profound exercise in gratitude.
So take a few minutes today and make you list...then do more of what makes you happy!!
