If you can believe that you are what you believe...then today consider your thoughts. How are the words you speak to yourself manifesting in your life?
What might life look like if you did some brief self-talk in the morning telling yourself things like "I choose to have a positive attitude!" on a morning when you really don't feel like it's going to be a very good day. Or "I make the best of every situation" when you are faced with disappointment. My favorite affirmation is "I am healthy and strong" and I use this one often before a hard workout.
Pick one.
Try it out this week. Use sticky notes and write your affirmation down on a few. Put these notes in places you will see them: the fridge, the bathroom mirror, the door you always walk out, the dashboard of your car. When you see the note, say the affirmation out loud.
These words have the power to heal you. To influence the outcome of your day. To change your attitude and, in effect, your life.
